Handwriting

Ah the lost art in the blogging world :).

I saw the neatest thing last year on someones blog. I only wish that I remembered where I had seen it so I could give them credit! Basically its a short list of questions that you answer in your own hand and then take a picture of it! This was such a fun project to work on because it really made me stop and think about myself for just a second.

I realized a couple of funny things about myself.

• My handwriting gets worse the longer I write. My poor fingers are soo used to only typing. How sad!
• Some of the questions really made me stop and think about my life. I loved this aspect of this project.
• I had such a hard time not going into much detail as I didn't have a lot of room to write! It makes me want to do a whole other post tomorrow just to explain myself and some of my choices. Maybe I'll do just that! 
• I really can NOT live with out spell check. I am horrible at spelling! :)

Happiness Is...

A torn up living room because all 3 boys had such an awesome time playing together! I seriously never mind this because its just sooo much better than hearing "I'm bored!" or "He's touching me!" :) Oh and ignore my dead Christmas tree in the corner... 

A tray of brownies devoured out of the pan with a fork by me ready to be cut and placed on a cute dish . If you follow me on Facebook you'll already now that I found a box of brownie mix hiding in my pantry on Friday and I just about DIED of excitement!

 Wasting waaaay too much time spent cruising Pinterest for new home decorating, party, and craft ideas!

A brand new SUPER-SIZED box of disinfecting wipes for my bathroom. Boys are disgusting ya'll!! :)

An empty laundry basket! (need I say more?)

Chocolate chip muffins for breakfast. I spent a whole 4 seconds sticking left -over  party decorations  in them and  the boys just about lost their marbles to eat them!


What makes you happy?

A New Necklace For Me!

For Christmas I received a Lisa Leonard gift card from my sister-in-law Stacy. I was super excited when I went to her website and found the most perfect everyday necklace for myself!

I have really been wanting something simple and casual that I can wear most days and that would pretty much match anything. I think I found it!!

I love that I have all the kiddos names on it too :). Now that I have this one I want so badly to go back and order another one. (I had a really hard time choosing between this one and another one..)

South Texas Snow Day!

Ahhahahahahahaah...

As if. I could probably count on one hand the number of times that South Texas has seen snow since God created the Earth.

Way down here we get our snow from a can :).

Since Graham has gone back to school poor Grady has been bored and needing something fun to do! I found these fun cans of snow at Pier One right before Christmas and stuck them in the boy's stockings. Best thing I ever bought!!

This stuff was awesome! You literally just mixed in one can of water and Viola! Snow! We put ours in a cake pan to play. Grady asked for his construction toys and I thought it was a great idea.

The best part of this is that when it dries out you can just add more water! We did have several spills and it was really hard to clean up. It just smeared around on the table instead of just wiping up. I had to wait until it dried back out and then cleaned it up. :( 

It was all so worth it though. Grady sat and played at the kitchen table for quite a while (and if you know my son that it fantastic :).

When Grady got done playing with it, we just packed it back up to save for another fun "snow day"!

Caroline's Name!

Caroline, Caroline, Caroline! I just love to say her name. :)

I swear that I say it at least once a day to someone out loud so that she'll always stay a comfortable part of our family. Sometimes it's just to Griffin about his angel that watches over him and sometimes it's just to our dog Crash because I feel like saying "Caroline".

When we finally got this...

I could not be any happier! I'm ordering prints of it today and the SECOND that they get here they are going up on our wall!

Momma loves you and misses you soo much my sweet baby! I'm so crazy sad that this is what I have left of you but I'll take it and love it as the most wonderful gift you have sent us (other than your little brother :).

I'm so proud to be your Momma. I love you Caroline!

Too Tired...

• Griffin is back to not sleeping so great.
• We moved him to his crib upstairs finally and now I am humping it up and down the stairs many many times a night to get him settled down.
• I don't do great with little sleep.
• I'm starting to not think so clearly during the day now and it scares me just a little bit. 
• Surely it can't be much longer before he settles down and starts to sleep longer stretches right?? 
• I need to recap our Happy New Year celebrations, Griffin turning 3 months old, and so much more.
• But, I'm just so tired.
• So tired in fact, the only way I'm posting today is with the help of these little bullets. This way I don't have to think up clear and concise paragraphs. :)
• Please hurry up and get here Saturday. Momma really needs a nap.

• I'm in LOVE with the culprit of all this sleep deprivation! :)
